Family Week at Maho!

We had a great time this past week with Judy's niece Dawn, her husband TJ, and their three beautiful kids.  They stayed at Maho camps, but joined us on board for two days and one night.  (Yes, this boat actually fit seven.)  They also took us out to Island Blues, Caneel Bay, and Skinny Legs.  It was a very fun week!

Skinny Legs was fun, and the burger was the best I've had on island

Julia Visits!

We had a great time with Julia, touring the BVI for almost two weeks.  We went up to Gorda Sound, as well as hitting Norman, Peter, Cooper, and Ginger Islands.  The Baths was a real highlight - it wasn't crowded this time, and was really fun to explore, both above and below the water.  We all did a lot of snorkeling, and Julia got to see everything from turtles to barracudas, as well as all the Dr Seuss fish on the reefs.  We found a few spots which actually had a large amount of live coral and were very colorful.  In one remote bay, Julia spotted a beautiful large Eagle Ray which swam right next to our boat as we were standing on deck.  We also saw dolphins cavorting in Sopers Hole.

But mainly, it was great to be able to spend so much time with my daughter!  Her plane just left, and I miss her already.  Like all of our guests, though, I'm sure she is looking forward to a real bathroom and a bed that doesn't rock ;-)
